Effective April 1, 2021, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) has rescinded Bulletin 2018-01. Bulletin 2018-01, issued September 25, 2018, relates to changes to types of supervisory communication. This Bulletin identifies two categories of findings that the CFPB would use to convey supervisory expectations: 1) Matters Requiring Attention (MRAs), and 2) Supervisory Recommendations (SRs). The CFPB is rescinding Bulletin 2018-01 which will be replaced with Bulletin 2021-01. This Bulletin indicates that examiners will continue to use MRAs, but that the CFPB will no longer issue SRs.
