On May 10, 2018, the IRS released Revenue Procedure 2018-30, which provided the 2019 inflation adjusted amounts for Health Savings Accounts. The annual contribution limit for an individual with self-only coverage under a high deductible health plan was raised from $3,450 to $3,500, and, for an individual with family coverage under a high deductible health plan, the amount was raised from $6,900 to $7,000. The IRS also updated the annual out-of-pocket maximum from $6,650 to $6,750 for self-only coverage and from $13,300 to $13,500 for family coverage. There was no change to the minimum annual deductible for self-only coverage or family coverage.
